Adula 22

The Rheinwaldhorn (in Italian Adula) is the highest point of the Swiss canton Ticino, at 3,402 meters above sea level. It is located on the border between the cantons of Grisons and Ticino, in the Adula range, a part of the Saint Gotthard massif of the Lepontine Alps in Southern Switzerland.

Adula 22 is inspired by this. The vertigo of these wonderful mountains gave the MITTAM designer team the idea of creating a product with clean geometric lines. The luminaires of the family are suitable for being installed on the ceiling, wall or suspension.

Adula 22 is a family of luminaires which stands out due to its minimal design, in small sizes. In the configuration with opal PC diffuser, the products offer a diffused light effect, with a tenuous indirect component with a welcoming and delicate flavour.

The blend between transparent PC and galvanised aluminium characterises the second version of Adula 22 and, thanks to the 4 different finishes, makes it a technical product with a wide range of decorative sensations.

The electronic and mechanical technology has been developed to optimise technical-lighting performances, in favour of the total psycho-physical wellbeing of the end user.
